There’s a new tower being construction in Downtown Long Beach, CA. Check it out..

The Shoreline Gateway project broke ground in October 2018 and is the second phase of the entire project. It will be the city’s tallest structure, standing over 35 stories tall providing 315 units and about 6,700 square feet of ground floor retail. There will be 458 parking spaces, which includes a subterranean parking garage. The plaza separating the two buildings will be about 10,000SF.

The completion of the Shoreline Gateway development project is anticipated in later 2021. The design is beautiful done by Studio One Eleven and Carrier Johnson + Culture, but this development project does nothing to help the affordability crisis of Long Beach and the LA metro area as a whole.
